Beauty Within by Sound Synthesis is four tracks of delicately built electro, breaks and 90s braindance with a strong focus on melodic composition. ‘The Love Inside Your Soul’ kicks off with a spacious solar pad before galloping arpeggios and drum machine breaks weave in. The title track takes a similar palette into a dynamic dancefloor direction, before things turn more ominous with ‘Cybernetic Tendencies’ greyscale soundscaping and sinister bassline tearing into view. ‘Fields of Echoes’ sees out the affair with a fittingly uplifting finish, pointing its gaze towards the stars. Furthur Electronix presents the fifty-ninth release in its long-running series in fine form.
