There is clearly nothing stopping Keith Farrugia as he drops his third full length album under the Sound Synthesis name, amidst a stellar run of EPs just throughout 2022 alone. Hum Of Human Dreams takes the dreamier side of his electro sounds even further, often into sci-fi territory with the many layers of synths on tracks like ‘I Will Find You’ illustrating cyberpunk-esque cityscapes, and the chunky, machinic drums of ‘115bpm’ invoking the robotic figures on the cover. Elsewhere, synth surges fly high on the optimistic ‘Simpa Harmonies’, and acid stabs trill above the bustling breaks of ‘Amen Acid’.
