Finland’s CRC is back on the Furthur Electronix label for a reissue of his 2009 appearance on the electro label Zyntax Motorcity. Originally titled numerically (like all Zyntax releases) as Zyntax 02, Furthur has now renamed it after one of the EP’s strongest tracks, the spring-y mid-tempo cut ‘Influence Device 001’. Alongside its two other running mates is a previously unheard gem from the Zyntax sessions entitled ‘Traveller’. Playing off the lighter energy on ‘Influence’, this new track’s acid line skips across the surface like rain hitting a pond to nice effect.
