Be With Records come through with another golden oldie here. Marti Caine’s 1981 LP Point Of View is something of a cult classic - original copies change hands for large sums of money on the second-hand market. This more affordable reissue comes with liner notes from famed DJ/author Bill Brewster, someone who has long professed to be a big fan of the album. You can see why Point Of View has caught Brewster’s ear - its mix of slow-mo disco, funk, lover’s rock and soul hits a sweet spot between Sade and Grace Jones.
