Charlemagne Palestine was full of beans when he was let into the Moog Sound Lab. Fifty years after he purchased his first electronic instruments (a pair of prototype Buchla tone generators), the legendary performance artist was finally able to realise a dream of having a whole bank of oscillators ‘all singing together’. He took to the task with relish, producing hours of music while down at the studio.
