Casper Clark aka Volte Face aka Bleed Music impresario lines up the legendary DJ Spider for the fourth release on the rapidly rising label. New York City’s DJ Spider is man of many aliases (Spider Bites, Kuru, Alarma!, Destination Void), labels and connections (Plan B/Sublevel Sounds imprints, collaborations with Phil Moffa, Marshalito and Franklin De Costa for The Trilogy Tapes, Killekill). Here on Burning Museums he loads up the drum machine and serves us the good stuff: warehouse sound design, submerged machine funk motifs, off-centre techno throb, and distorted kicks. Volte Face himself channels the A-side ‘Prophetic Technology’ with a Jamal Moss style re-rub.
