Brooklyn sound artist Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe has been releasing music both under his own name and as Lichens on labels like Kranky, Type, and RVNG Intl. for years. Here he returns with his first solo record in four years. Out via Demdike Stare’s label DDS, the 12” plays with West African drum patterns and abstracted rhythms.
