Returning to Antinote with Life Goes On If You Are Lucky, this is a sequel to 2014’s debut 12”. The spectre of Howarth/Carpenter throbs through the seven tracks on offer here; forceful arpeggios hum and drive, Acidic stabs pull you into the Italo Disco (“La Figure du Rey”), on the sunrise splendour of ‘Tiger For Breakfast” digital pads caress… then the low-and-easy Linn drum crackles (‘I.C.A’) and slaps, like Dam Funk parachuted into a backstreet bar in the 11th, drum machine slung round his neck, supping finest claret…
