D.K.’s back on Antinote with a new EP. Riding For A Fall is the latest in the long lineage of club records that look to an imagined Japan for inspiration. A lot of the sounds one finds in sinogrime can also be located on Riding For A Fall, though rather that slapped onto hard Eski riddims these cuts work in the service of Balearic house beats. The combination makes for a rich, dense and evocative listen.
