Count Ossie was a key figure in spreading Rastafarian roots music outside of Jamaica, who with his band The Mystic Reveation of Rastafari was responsible for fusing traditional drumming with popular music and the avant-garde sensibility of jazz artists like Sun Ra and John Coltrane. This official reissue of their legendary 1975 roots reggae album comes fully remastered thanks to Soul Jazz, and with the inclusion of two rare non-album bonus tracks.
