After a decade out of print, Move D’s debut LP gets the re-release treatment via ava. Records (Mall Grab, Damiano Von Erckert). All recorded in the early 90s, the thirteen tracks of Kunststoff announced David Moufang to the world as a producer who had something seriously good going for him. The foundations of the Move D sound are all there within this album. Acid, deep house, central European techno, downtempo breaks and Moufang’s interest in jazz all come together here, and as ever the tracks are imbued with his uniquely calm and composed vibe. We recommend grabbing one quick lest you have to wait another decade for the next chance.
