Deerhunter make a much welcomed returned to the fold with Fading Frontier, nine tracks of blissful strung out electronic rooted tight jeans indie. Said to be inspired by R.E.M., Tom Petty, and INXS its not hard to hear the DNA of these groups in this most poignantly elegant of recordings. A heady mixture of lullabies with a backdrop of well placed electronics make this one of the most delectable of albums produced by the group. We really urge you to spend some time in the Fading Frontier.
