Reissue of the soundtrack for Damiano Damiani 1974 Italian drama film Il Sorriso Del Grande Tentatore (The Devil Is A Woman), released in the UK as The Tempter, scored by the Italian composer and trumpet player Ennio Morricone. Morricone is known for overhauling the spaghetti western soundtrack sound with his work on For A Fistful Of Dollars (1964), and has also worked on scores for films such as Roland Joffé's The Mission (1986), Brian De Palma's The Untouchables (1987) and Pier Paolo Pasolini's The Hawks and the Sparrows (1966). This release sees some pious choral singing, organs, fierce chants and distorted bass guitar strums.
