Backwards compatible specialists Unknown To The Unknown rack up their 50th release with an interstellar transmission from the highly prolific, Dutch techno tycoon Legowelt and his Immensity Of Cosmic Space EP. The opening title cut is a boisterous affair, laced with rollicking drum breaks, plinkety-plonk synth notes and strange vocal snips alluding to a future that’s already been, whilst ‘Lumeria’ boasts tough, ‘ardcore drum fills in free flow. On the flip, Wolfers ditches the breaks in favour of the hard, 4/4 stomp with both the mind-melting swing of ‘Palm Trees In The Rain’ and pummeling workout on ‘Phase 5’ purpose-constructed for the ‘floor.
