Dutch electronica polymath and all-round advocate for analogue synth bangerism Legowelt became the first ever artist in residence for the Swiss Museum for Electronic Music Instruments in early 2019. Unrestricted access to a host of rare synths and overlooked machines from electronic music history clearly inspired Legowelt well beyond his usual house-inflected grooves — although ‘Chateaux Dans Le Ciel Farfisfa Synthorchestra’ delivers on that front — and into the realms of unearthly space kosmische with the likes of ‘Little Music with a Big Synth’.
