Jim Jupp and Julian House bring together Jon Brooks and Sean O’Hagan for a beautiful, sun-drenched release on their Ghost Box imprint with the Other Voices 01 EP. Utilising acoustic instrumentation, gentle synths and their own voices, the duo craft two pieces of easygoing sounds as soft as a summer breeze. A-side piece ‘Calibair’ offers floating guitar picks, soft torrents of bass and tranquil vocals with a casual dub coating; ‘Mulcair’ follows on with a soft harmonica interlocking with piano keys and breezy drum machine beat.
