Jack Sharp released his debut album as Large Plants in 2022 after going solo, and he has wasted no time in delivering a followup record. Passionate vocals rise above the threshing, thrashing psych rock thrillrides of The Thorn, elevating the rawness of Sharp’s previous album The Carrier. Ragged strums resembling brambles, thickets, and thorny shrubs bite through ‘Tendril’, with overdriven bass capitalising on the track’s fiery energy.
