New experimental imprint Soniclab present a beguiling and beautifully strange album from XNX, which compiles a decade’s work created for installation and performance by Ilidio Chaves. ‘Sphere of Perception’ appears to filter itself out over its 12 minute duration, spreading from a dense blanket of metallic rebounding attacks to a rhythmic collection of ultra-high sine bleeps and gorgeous synth washes that recall Alva Noto at his best.
