One of the legendary Nurse With Wound’s most loved and mystified albums (sharing its name and collaborators with Current 93’s 1992 release), Thunder Perfect Mind receives a definitive reissue from Infinite Fog. . The freeze of grinding noise and woodpecking stabs are a constant throughout ‘Cold’, playing with perception via synchronising alarm tones and industrial percussion lines while split second bullets of noise break up the abstract sound collage. ‘Colder Still’ U turns into harmonic brass arrangements, shivering strings, and sparse beats, eventually falling into a downtempo groove with hand drums framing blurry, enigmatic spoken word.
