San Francisco’s Bvdub returns to the Infinite Fog label after a long absence for a new LP entitled The Depth of Rain. Birthed from a steel tongue drum Bvdub happened upon in China, the handmade instrument from a family member inspired a fruitful field recording unto which the ambient master then sketched his treated electronics and other machines. The singular track on the album flows through several movements, meant to replicate the feeling he had upon returning home, like a storm coming to pass.
