Civilistjävel! brings the magic to the live setting with a duo of performances in London and Svanö, crystallising the artist’s curious imagined spaces into the equally enigmatic real world. Kicks bubble up and burst into smoke on the Spanners side, with gargantuan movements of ambient air pushing bitcrushed glitches and blurry saxophone sounds into a reverberant mixture. Imposing thuds and shreds of sonic material meanwhile resonate through the Nonagon side. Signals echo into the blizzard before colliding abstracted rhythms and visceral synth rushes set Civilistjävel!’s cold, misty world ablaze.
