Swedish producer Civilistjävel! lands on Perko's FELT again for the follow up his 2022 LP Järnnätter. Even less tethered to rhythm as its icy, dub techno inflected running mate in Järnnätter, the Fyra platser EP explores minimalism further, delving deep into ambient and modern classical. Long sighing drones and barely there analog kick drums define most of these tunes, with the expanse meant to invoke the wide open nature of the Swedish high coast. Cucina Povera adds nearly devotional vocal dispatches to the engrossing ‘Louhivesi’ to great effect, as well.
