Melody as Truth boss Jonny Nash returns to his imprint for his first collection of solo material in over four years entitled Point of Entry. Using the loose framework of folk music as a jumping off point, Nash explores zones far beyond those margins using not only his signature droning guitar stylings, but also the striking saxophone work of ambient jazzer Joseph Shabason. While more primitive tracks like the opening pair ‘Eternal Life’ and ‘Theories’ suggest light at end of a deep well via haunting and reverberant production, Nash’s guitar tone on ‘Light From Three Sides’ that truly throws light all over the shadows.
