Bleep

Conceived and created as part of artist Xavier Veilhan’s residency project for the 2017 Venice Biennale, during which the artist transformed the French Pavilion into a functioning recording studio, frequent collaborators Gigi Masin and Jonny Nash’s Postcards From Nowhere transforms interstitial space with quietly dignified compositions for electric guitar and piano. Hints of later Talk Talk and Brian Eno feed through their cinematic landscapes, as each tune slowly burns away the run-time.
