The frenetic stuttering and hyped pace of Planet Mu's labour of love, footwork, seems to have had ample effect on Ital Tek and his latest release, 'Gonga'. A rapid race for supremacy caught amidst abstract drum patterns and unrestrained synth movements. Elsewhere the EP touches on sweeps of video game effects and arpeggiated chords such as on 'Pixel Haze' and lurching patterns of tribal-esque drumming on 'Cobalt'.
