Last time out Leaving Records boss Matthewdavid infected our senses with bass that made our speakers wobble (the Sun Araw collab 'Livephreaxxx') he's back with a more accessible, but no less odd, affair for Flying Lotus's Brainfeeder. Buried deep in the bass matrix are the sounds of Mulatu Atsake, of troubled soul diva's mangled beyond recognition and twisted LA scorched electronics from another place. Possibly found them down in the Not Not Fun catalogue. 21C hip-hop-psych done very well indeed.
