After building up a solid reputation with their single releases on Skam, and a series of incredible live performances, especially in support of Autechre earlier this year, there has been a building sense that Team Doyobi were about to produce something special. And in Cryptoburners they may have done just that, like Ae stuck in a lift with Timbaland, it's an album equally at home on a pair of headphones or blasting out on a massive soundsystem. (John-P)
