Sci-fi bleeps and otherworldly sound design abound over three textural techno cuts from QNTM CTRL on ‘THE EAGLE AND THE SENSES’. Released through ‘electronic music imprint & blockchain art collective’ Oblivious Transfer, the tracks are contextualised by sci-fi concept artist Jake Lunt Davies vivid artwork including a ‘hidden augmented reality sequence’. Tight drum processing meet synth stabs that fly in all directions while the human voice arrives in opaque layers of processing throughout the track-list. With more ‘NFT components’ to come, The Eagle and The Senses is a playful content-meets-form futurist experiment.
