Jean-Claude Vannier, Serge Gainsbourg's arranger on such masterpieces of popular music AT ANY TIME, like l'histoire de Melody Nelson, who's sumptuous grooves were arranged and produced by Vannier recorded this tour-de-force of an album straight after the Melody Nelson sessions with bits and pieces, outtakes and additional material from the sessions. The record was a promo only release but the results are too good to be heard by only the few. The album is amazing, otherworldy and strange instrumental music, with choirs and big exotic Orchestral arrangements, and incidental noise. It's quite an album, with quite a cover, the nude Vannier, running along an empty beach. Top Stuff.
