As well as being one of his most sought-after and groundbreaking works, the 1980 EP finds Schnitzler flirting with new wave sounds for his first (and only) major label release, and naturally, it couldn’t help but become influential in its own way. The title track alone sent synths hurtling into a pop-ready sphere alongside driving, mutant disco keys, all while maintaining the dark-minded grit akin to many DAF records.
