Harbour City Sorrow present two vital releases of minimal techno from enigmatic producer and scene legend Population One. A hard-worker in the mines of electronic music since the early 1990s, Population One’s I Program My Computer Right and View From Above, released in 2012 and 2008 respectively, are compiled into a stylistically-linked set. The shimmering synth wooziness of ‘A Cosmic Display of Beauty’ sits neatly alongside the unifying rhythm of ‘View From Above’, as house classic ‘Computer Rights’ sets the banging counterpoint to the sloping tones of ‘Radius’.
