Taking a brief sabbatical from his Grumbling Fur project (featuring This Is Not This Heat’s Daniel O’Sullivan), Alexander Tucker unleashes an expanding universe of inner light on the heavy drone-meets-world weary pop with The Guild Of The Asbestos Weaver. The LP sees the underground hero of British freakiness carve out a rich panorama of English garden psychedelia, overrun with nettles and vines, unkept but totally deliberate, peopled by tiny stray lawn ornaments.
