For his first solo record in two years, rising producer Vegyn follows on from his much lauded Frank Ocean production credits with two stripped back broken beat mutations. Not quite techno, not quite house and not quite hip-hop, the two tracks here sound positively enchanting to say the least. Flawless production and sound design mixed with a pretty unique style help seal the deal in our eyes. The B side jam ‘PLZ XX’ seems to dart between mood and genre with little regard for structural norms, firmly holding our attention for the tracks duration – top stuff!
