Handy package of all 2562's self-released A Made Up Sound dub techno stompers, released in conjunction with Clone, the original 12"s paved the way for the second wave dubstep x techno sound that followed on from Appleblims head turning Dubstep Allstars: Vol.06 mix.

Dave Huisman has had quite the impact on electronic music throughout his career as A Made Up Sound. His early releases like ‘Sun Touch’ and ‘Rework’ really set a precedent for techno’s influence on the post-dubstep movement, their dubby synths were formulated in a way not really seen until then. Elsewhere on this discography of sorts are the tracks from AMS00X. ‘Ahead’ jolts between sections with an echoed out vocal loop the only constant, while the acid synth lines on ‘Endgame’ are lager lout rowdy. New material comes in the form of ‘Bygones’, which is as straight as you’re likely to get from AMS. A gentle, warm house track featuring upfront shuffling percussion and lightly dubbed chords.
