Another experimental project conceived close to home for the Constellation label is the work of William Jourdain under his Automatisme moniker. Long, drawn out recordings of static and synth drones are manipulated until they slowly evolve into textural delights, but this album is not just for the nerds! Recalling the most minimal work of Finnish pioneer Mika Vainio, Momentform Accumulations is a journey through the ‘less is more’ school of thought. This is a collection of Jourdain’s most up to date and current work, mainly focusing on rhythmical appliances.
