UK-born, LA-based artist Mark Van Hoen has had a long career, releasing electronic music since the 1990s both under the name Locust and while collaborating with artists like Seefeel and Slowdive’s Neil Halstead. His music has covered ambient, drone, post-rave and beyond, and on his new album Nightvision he experiments with sweeping synthscapes, dub effects, cinematic atmospheres, and occasionally even something resembling pop music.
