Bruno Ponsato arrives under the Archangel moniker for this LP for Foom Music. Lifting from his love of post-punk, rock and pop, Ponsato contributes vocals to this LP and warps and reshapes them into his experimental blueprints. Made during “early morning studio sessions”, there is a sprightliness to The Bedroom Slant. Steal The Groom sounds like a Hot Chip early cut sent through a filter of techno minimalism and microhouse. It is definitely a step away from the rest of Ponsato’s output but that is why he adopted the alias. The Bedroom Slant is an offshoot project worth checking.
