Kathy Acker collaborator and underground new wave legend reissues his ‘Condo’ masterpiece alongside other tracks from the archives. Working with David Cunningham, Tim Burgess and Factory Floor among others, Gordon is a fascinating character who has spent decades honing his own unique take on minimalist, art rock and post punk. Very much a different beast to his Symphony 5 LP, this 12” sees the best of his work with Love Of Life Orchestra assembled in one place. Familiar with his name or not, this is a must check for fans of Arthur Russell/Peter Zummo/Flying Lizards et al.
