The fourth LP from 1960s Scottish folk figure Bert Jansch. Preceding their work together in baroque folk pop outfit Pentangle, Bert collaborated with friend and guitarist John Renbourn on this LP to create one of the finest chapters of his discography and career. Their distinctive styles of playing come together for a series of intricate, gorgeous instrumentals which weave in and out of their forlorn vocal performances. Incorporating aspects of the blues, traditional folk and wholly new techniques for a truly singular LP.
