Dragnet, the second of The Fall’s albums, was recorded in the autumn of 1979, just eight months on from their debut album Live At The Witch Trials. Deliberately muddier in sound, the album featured very few of the band members who played on The Fall’s first record: rapid releases and an even rapider change of members would come to define the pioneering art rock group over the decades. This new reissue, released on 180g heavyweight vinyl, is part of a series collecting Mark E. Smith’s early albums with The Fall before they signed to Rough Trade in 1980.
