A new release for the prolific Berlin based label Blackest Ever Black, which has released tracks by artists including Dalhous, Ike Yard, Moin, Pete Swanson and Raime. Shampoo Boy are the Vienna based trio consisting of Peter Rehberg (Editions Mego), Christina Nemec (comfortzone) and Christian Schachinger and follows on from their 2013 debut release LICHT. CRACK is a collection of dark, ambient, electroacoustic tracks with a powerful sonic palate. The release starts off with the dooming drone work ‘Spalt’ with distorted splatterings and fierce, plundering strumming, whilst ‘Riss’ sounds like church chimes shot into hell. ‘Bruch I-III’ finishes off release with epic feedback and sinister undertones.
