Underground Mancunian house & techno institution meandyou drop a super limited tape from resident Herron & dub techno legend JS Zeiter. Having started off in The Palace basement meandyou has grown to become one of the city's most lauded club nights, with past guests featuring everyone from Function & Regis, XDB, Millie & Andrea, DJ Sotofett to the recent debut UK performance from TTT stalwart Rezzett. So if you have not realised it yet, these guys know what they are doing when it comes to house and techno. J.S. Zeiter is a legend around the North having first produced a series of aquatic dub techno 12"s back in the late 90's, the first of which propelled him into legendary status when Sven Väth dropped 'JS-01' during the last night in the famous "Omen" in Frankfurt/Germany back in 1998. He makes a hugely welcome return here with a 40 minute mix of unreleased material on one side with Herron following in his lineage with a mix of his own unreleased bits on the flip. Throughout the seamless mixes you can hear the DNA of similar Mancunian producers such as Miles Demdike & Andy Stott through to the slower e bloc cuts from AnD, an epic release perfectly designed for late night wonderings around the abstractions of the industrial North.
