New-York-based producer Nick Hook, London label Ninja Tune and tech manufacturer Serato present the latest instalment in their Serato Pressings series. Following an edition from The Gaslamp Killer, Collage v. 1 sees Nick Hook do what he does best: lining up a number of exquisite collaborations. The EP’s opener features West Coast pioneer Egyptian Lover in a cowbell and clap infused space journey guided by Egyptian synth melodies and robotic voices. Other well-known players like garage guru Todd Edwards and Talking Heads’ Bernie Wornell join this throughout funky jam session alongside fresh and locally sourced talents such as vocalist Kilo Kish, rappers Bodega Bamz, and LuckyMe's DJ Paypal.
