Following releases on Crème Organization & M>O>S Recordings D’Marc Cantu debuts on the adventurous Desire Records with the Parisian Summer EP. Partly inspired by his performances at the Weather Festival in Paris, the energetic release collates party-starting arrangements with some moments of serenity. Opening with the jumped up, sleazy number ‘Irregular Bedfellows’ proceedings move to the bouncing, acidic ‘Maddance’ and more frantic ‘Partydaze’ that both literally burst with energy. The quick, analogue groove of ‘Svetlana’ is another trance inducing piece whereas ‘Uneven’ represents a much deeper, melodic moment.
