East London producer DrumTalk makes no secret of what he’s all about: on his first EP for the local Get Me! he let’s the rhythm take over. DrumTalk throws a male vocal snippet into the crowd-exciting mix of ‘SNB’. Resting on a euphonious synth pattern, the track’s best moment sees it switching from syncopation to being accentuated in line with the bass drum. ‘Super Vega’ is the producer’s raw reinterpretation of deep house. He runs the captivating main theme through a variety of synth sounds, ending in minimal, robotic and distorted alienations.
