DFA Records
DFA Records is a New York based record label that was founded in 2001 by Mo' Wax co-founder Tim Goldsworthy, musician James Murphy, and mutual friend Jonathan Galkin. DFA aka Death From Above has paved the way for cross over dance / rock / avant garde with artists like LCD Soundsystem, The Juan MacLean, Hot Chip, Hercules & Love Affair, Factory Floor, plus much more.
In James Murphy’s words, DFA is “too old to be new, too new to be classic".
