London producer DrumTalk rejoins the Huntley’s + Palmers team for the release of his self-titled EP - his second for the label. The EP sees him expand his production pallet. His pieces are less driven by the tribal congo sounds he put forward in his previous work, instead more centred around organic, lively synth playing. He layers up chords and melodies in compelling jam sessions - in a dry, DIY style that especially in the case of the opener ‘Halo’ - feels very immediate.
