London producer Drumtalk debuts on Huntley’s & Palmers with an EP of direct, tribal-inspired tracks. First up ‘Time’ unfolds over a simple yet effective pots and pans style beat before slowly adding extra layers of drum patterns, a seething synth chords and a soulful vocal into the mix for a guaranteed dance floor reaction. On the other side, ‘Magnetic’ is a bouncy workout of rubbery bass lines and fuzzed synth stabs that shows off the producers interesting use of different percussive elements.
