After several releases for Soma, analogue synth enthusiast Roberto Clementi releases his first EP on Danish techno imprint Echochord Colour. The Italian producer delivers a textured version of deep underground techno: Bonton sees him apply a coarser sound aesthetic than on previous releases. ‘Concolor’ captivates with its dub-techno ambience. The title track’s evolving bass melody provides the basis for a compelling aura that gets a more minimal look in Marcel Dettmann’s remix: the pitched up melody becoming sparser, and the beat more dominant.
