The young Berlin-based trio FJAAK release their debut single on Modeselektor's 50 Weapons sub-label, only the second release on 50 Weapons XTR. A-side 'Don't Leave Me' kicks off with cavernous warehouse kicks before getting down with fuzzy synth riffs and chopped piano anchors, dropping in a well known gospel sample to add further emotion. 'Plan A', the B-side uses similar drums, but goes down a more acidic route, all muted squelch that slowly comes into focus before drowning in a wash of dramatic synths.
